Our Story

Nestled on the unceded lands of the Gayogo̱hónǫ Nation, the Cuntry Witch Art Collective invites you into a whimsical, color-filled world that releases the binary and honors the many beautiful, messy spectrums of who we are.
We are three interdisciplinary artists devoted to the playful, radical magic conjured when art is guided by earth, body, and the politics that move through us. Through clay, fiber, music, visual art, and herbal practice, we offer work that feels like a breath of life to community and beyond.

Sol Alexandria (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist crafting worlds where play and poignancy meet at the edge of liberation. Their work asks what it means to live in felt sovereignty within a crumbling imperial landscape, returning again and again to the body as a site of memory, power, and possibility.

Guided by an embodied relationship to land, spirit, and story, Sol creates across writing, ceramics, visual and functional art, and performance. Their practice is rich with color, texture, and ritual, and is a constant blurring of the lines between the ordinary and the sacred. Through their work, they invite us into deeper intimacy with ourselves, each other, and the earth, imagining new ways of being free.

When they are not creating art for others, you can find Sol embracing a digital nomadic life while spending time with the earth, working on their book, crafting food medicine in loved one’s kitchens, teaching circus and (re)imagining systems that honor BIPOC & trans radical liberation traditions.

Ali Diemecke

Ali (she/they) is a multi disciplinary artist who lives in the space between worlds and acts as a conduit for the divine. She weaves together her love of the natural world with influences from her Mexican culture and the movements for liberation that fuel her. In doing so, she creates art that challenges and nurtures her audience.

Ali can be most frequently found on a stage, performing as her solo act by the name of La Llorona. She just released her second album, “We The Seeds,” which can be found on most platforms.

While her main art form is music, Ali spends her free time drawing and crocheting up a storm. A big fan of bright colors and fiber arts of all forms, Ali is constantly creating something new.

Ibis (they/them) is a queer, non-binary/trans, fat liberation, neurodivergent multimedia artist, herbalist and social worker living with chronic illness. They are passionate about creating worlds where play, color and inner child work thrive. Their journey currently has them pursuing a Masters of Social Work as a tool to continue their dedication to uplifting their communities and dismantling oppressive systems.

They use many mediums as meditations to explore their creative expressions from printmaking, jewelry making, nail art, herbal elixers, drawing, painting and wearable art. They grew up in the swamps of south Lousiana and are deeply connected to and inspired by the deepseeded artistic culture there.

You can find them at home with their cats, in their garden, having Big Gay BBQs and being with close friends.
