The Doula Partnership
Have served as a contract doula since 2024. The Doula Partnership is a no-cost program that aims to promote and provide birth and postpartum doula services for Cortland community members who identify as low-income, may have challenges accessing prenatal, birth, and postnatal support, and/or have experienced previous adverse maternal health outcomes.

What is a Full Spectrum Doula?
Full Spectrum doulas are nonmedical professionals that give physical, emotional and informational support during many reproductive and family transitions (such as loss, abortion, miscarriage, adoption, surrogacy, contraception and more.)

What is the difference between a Birthing & Postpartum Doula?
Birth doulas are nonmedical professionals that offer physical and emotional support during childbirth and the months leading up to childbirth.
Postpartum doulas are nonmedical professionals that give physical and emotional support right after childbirth and the months following childbirth. Doulas can help to make postpartum changes easier and smoother. Doulas support your specific needs!
